Singing on "Wine & Whiskey" - Dick Powell, Washington State native was the first inductee to the WA Blues Hall of Fame. The triple threat musician sings, plays keyboards and is one of the best harmonica players on earth. Dick learned music early in life and played in his father's dance band. A founding member of Seattles' famed "Crome Syrcus" in the 60's, the band traveled the world even scoring music and performing with the Jeoffrey Ballet's production of "Astarte' ". In the 70's "The Dick Powell" band played venues from Canada to California, employing NW legends Rich Dangel, John Goforth & Rick Houle. As a sought after side man, Dick has played with Albert King, B.B. King, J.B. Hutto and Johnny Rivers and has recorded countless sessions & commercials. Currently a member of Little Bill's "Blue Notes" Dick Powell continues to wow crowds in the Northwest with his powerful blues vocals and his astonishing ability to solo simultaneously on keyboard and harmonica.
